On December 15th, the LK Group & Neta Automobile's Strategic Integrated Die-Casting Cooperation Signing Ceremony took place at Neta Automobile's headquarters in Shanghai. The two parties engaged in a comprehensive strategic collaboration regarding the bulk procurement of multiple super-large die-casting units, joint research and development of 20,000-ton and above super-large die-casting equipment, establishment of a die-casting demonstration base, and the formation of a die-casting research institute.
This collaboration, both in the scale of die-casting equipment procurement and in the maximum tonnage of the equipment, has set multiple industry records. It is expected to advance the industry towards higher-end, intelligent, green, and efficient prospects. Notably, the 20,000-ton and above super-large intelligent die-casting units are planned to achieve the integrated die-casting forming of the entire chassis bottom for B-class vehicles and larger-sized vehicle models, once again revolutionizing the manufacturing process for new energy vehicle chassis.
Leaders attending the event included Zhang Yong, Co-founder, and CEO of Neta Automobile; Dai Dali, Chief Technology Officer of Neta Automobile; Peng Qingfeng, Vice President of Neta Automobile and President of the Parts Company; Wang Aiguo, Vice President of Neta Automobile's Parts Company; Liu Xiangshang, Founder of LK Group; Liu Yingying, Director of LK Technology in Shenzhen; Zhang Jun, General Manager of LK Technology in Shenzhen; Hu Zaoren, General Manager of Shanghai Yida; and former Sales Vice President Ren Yipeng, among others, who witnessed the signing.
Zhang Yong, Co-founder, and CEO of Neta Automobile expressed that the collaboration between Neta Automobile and LK Group represents an innovative step towards the industry's manufacturing ecology upgrade amidst the trend of automobile lightweighting.
In addition to the procurement of multiple super-large die-casting equipment, the two parties will jointly establish a die-casting demonstration manufacturing base in Anhui, set up a die-casting research institute, and create a leading die-casting research institution integrating industry, academia, and research. This initiative aims to nurture high-end design talents in die-casting R&D, processes, and tooling for the industry and society.
"The realization of integrated die-casting for the entire vehicle chassis is the dream of every one of us in the die-casting industry. Today, this dream is about to be realized in collaboration with Neta Automobile," stated Liu Xiangshang, Founder of LK Group. "LK will leverage its technical advantages in super-large integrated die-casting to support Neta Automobile's concept of 'technology equality.' Both parties will deepen cooperation between academia and industry to promote the development and upgrade of the new energy vehicle industry."
The leadership team of LK Group visited Neta Automobile's user experience center, experiencing various popular car models of Neta Automobile and exploring Neta Automobile's skateboard chassis technology.
Currently, driven by the needs of automotive manufacturers to reduce weight and increase efficiency, automotive lightweighting and integrated structural die-casting have become industry development trends. As a leading force among China's new carmakers, Neta Automobile adheres to the values of "technology equality," adhering to a long-term route of self-research and self-production, making high-quality intelligent electric vehicles accessible and gaining recognition from nearly 400,000 users worldwide. Just this year, Neta Automobile successively released a series of heavyweight technological achievements, including the Haohi Technology Brand 2.0, Intelligent Safety Whole Vehicle Platform Shanhai Platform 2.0, Yunhe Platform, covering areas such as skateboard chassis, AI large models, and central supercomputing (XPCPro).
LK Group, as a major global die-casting machine manufacturer, has long held an absolute leading position in the domestic market share (50%+). It pioneered the industry by creating the first large-scale integrated die-casting of new energy vehicle body bottoms and continuously led the development of integrated die-casting toward larger tonnages, higher precision, and intelligence. In 2022, LK first introduced die-casting machine tonnages into the ten-thousand-ton range, globally launching the 12,000-ton super-large intelligent die-casting unit. In October 2023, LK once again surpassed itself, globally launching the 16,000-ton super-large intelligent die-casting unit. This collaboration with Neta Automobile for the 20,000-ton and above super-large intelligent die-casting unit is expected to innovate, revolutionize industry perceptions, and contribute to China's rise in the global automotive industry.
